Summer Program
Each summer we continue programming for the children that are currently attending our school, as an extension of the school year, following our “Around the World” theme. We are open from Monday-Thursday starting at 8am, with two pick up options, 1pm or 3pm - we will not have programming after 3pm. This program runs for the 3 weeks in June following the end of our school year, closes for the 4th of July week, and then runs for 6 additional weeks. Registration is weekly and we begin taking registrations each January, for children currently attending, and full payment is due by June 1.
Our summer program is only for current Good Shepherd School students. New students may attend the summer program following their first school year.
PreK-4/K1 and Beyond
Children that are 4 years old by September 1 are ineligible to attend Good Shepherd School as we do not have a Pre-K4/K1 Program.
We have a growing partnership with St. John School in the North End, which is an excellent choice of school to continue your child’s Catholic Education. We often have visits from their Director of Admissions and Enrollment to keep parents informed of their program and opportunities to visit and learn more. We have enjoyed being mystery readers with their PreK-4 class virtually and their 7th and 8th graders have visited us for community service, assisting with projects, leading lessons for Chapel, and to have free play with our students. In both cases we have enjoyed having GSS Alumni involved!
