Roxanne Ayala, BA

My name is Miss Roxanne, and I teach in the Green Sea Turtle Classroom.  This year will mark my fourth year of teaching at GSS, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of this amazing community. I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education and I had the privilege of doing my student teaching right here at GSS.  After completing my student teaching, I was honored to be asked to become a full-time teacher, and I have been here ever since.  I am truly passionate about working with preschool-age children, as it has always been a dream of mine to do since I was a child.  It brings me great joy to see the children in my classroom grow and develop academically, and socially, and watch them have fun learning.  On a more personal note, I was born and raised here in Boston.  I am a proud mother to a wonderful boy named Chase and a cat mom.  In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, and watching basketball as I am also a huge basketball fan and love the Boston Celtics.
