Jessica Maxwell is excited to be spending her sixth year at Good Shepherd School in her new role as Director. She earned her Masters of Special Education in Moderate Disabilities K-8 from American International College in 2016 and she received her B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Fitchburg State College in 2005. Jessica holds an initial license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education for both Pre-K to 2 and Moderate Disabilities K-8. From the Department of Early Education and Care she is Director II certified, which includes her Lead Teacher certification for both Preschool and Infants and Toddlers. Jessica has taught in various Preschool settings for over 10 years.
She is also the Summer Director at 4-H Camp Middlesex in Ashby, MA which is an overnight camp for children aged 8-15, she has held this role since 2009. This is her childhood camp, when she was younger she was a Lifeguard and Arts & Crafts Counselor, she has been involved for a total of 18 years. Jessica also loves to travel and spent two years working on board cruise ships for Norwegian Cruise Lines as a Youth Counselor.
Jessica absolutely loves working with children and is thrilled to continue to as Director of Good Shepherd School in this loving community.
